Technical sheet of the Rubinette apple tree variety
- Fruit flesh color: Yellowish white
- Skin color: Straw yellow streaked with carmine-orange red
- Size and Shape: Medium-sized fruits. Apples are spherical with slightly rough skin.
- Tree Size: Reaches a height and width of about 4 meters with a semi-erect habit
- Fruit maturity: End of September
- Fruit Flavor: Firm, juicy, and fragrant flesh, offering an excellent balance between sweet and tangy. Distinctive floral aroma
- Earliness of the variety: Known for its relatively late maturity
- Fruiting period: Generally fifteen to forty years after planting
- Disease Resistance and Storage: Shows good resistance to powdery mildew and scab. Rubinette apples can be stored for about 1 to 2 months or about 5 months
